A well-maintained leather bag can last for decades and become even more beautiful with time. At MARAZ Origins, we use high-quality leathers that are designed to age gracefully, but a few simple gestures can significantly extend the life of your accessories.
First, protect your bag from excessive moisture. If your bag gets wet, let it dry naturally at room temperature, never near a direct heat source. Second, nourish the leather regularly with a suitable balm — once a month for daily use. This preserves the suppleness of the leather and prevents cracking. Third, store your bags in a cotton bag (provided with every MARAZ product) to protect them from dust and direct light.
For stains, act quickly: a soft, slightly damp cloth is sufficient in most cases. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the natural color of the leather. And remember: the patina that develops over time is not a flaw — it's the signature of authentic, living leather.
